We are a family-owned stone processing company in Italy, founded in 1960 by Alcide Botton, whose deep passion for marble craftsmanship gave life to our legacy. What began as a small artisan workshop has evolved into a modern, full-scale operation known for excellence in marble and granite manufacturing. Over the decades, we have expanded our facilities, machinery, partnerships, and technical knowledge—always staying at the cutting edge of innovation in the natural stone industry.

Our history
1960
The company was founded in San Pietro Viminario thanks to the initiative of Alcide Botton. Originally a marble and ceramic installer, he opened a small workshop that later grew into a 1,000 sqm facility with an adjacent ceramic showroom. He focused on marble slab processing for windowsills, floor and wall coverings, using overhead saws, while also expanding into commercial sales.
1980
Strong passion and dedication for work soon paid off. The company expanded further, building a new 1,500 sqm facility that included a larger warehouse and a ceramic showroom for flooring and wall tiles. This marked a significant step in our evolution as a natural stone supplier.
1990
Alcide’s sons, Ivan and Paride, joined the company and broadened the product offering to include wooden flooring. Since then, the workshop has expanded several times both to meet the growing demand from international suppliers, particularly from India and Brasil, and to integrate increasingly advanced stone processing equipment.
2010
With Ivan and Paride officially at the helm, L.M.G. transformed into a fully integrated production and logistics hub, with over 20,000 sqm of operational space. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the facility brought the entire natural stone supply chain in-house—from processing to installation.
2015
To strengthen its position as an Italian marble supplier, the company has expanded further. We opened a 1,500 sqm showroom and warehouse in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, a national marble and stone trading hub in the province of Verona.
2017
L.M.G. opened a new showroom in Sottomarina di Chioggia, dedicated to the sale of marble, ceramics, and bathroom furnishings. This expansion enhanced our role as trusted stone and ceramic distributors on a national and international level.
2023
We further expanded our presence in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella with a 2,000 sqm facility focused on elite slabs and block trading. At the same time, we launched a full-scale renovation project for our main headquarters in San Pietro Viminario, strengthening our identity as a leading natural stone company in Italy.
